At The Selection Lab we try to fix hiring by solving the optimisation problem of what makes a great candidate on a daily basis by building the next-generation applicant selection technology! We are a fast-growing scale-up, where you will be given a lot of responsibility to work towards the social mission of objective hiring.

You:

  • You are passionate about creating high-quality written content, such as articles and magazines.
  • You have significant experience in content marketing and are ready to be fully responsible for our complete content strategy.
  • You are adept at organising small-scale events that enhance our brand presence and engagement.
  • You are experienced in B2B marketing.
  • Preferably, you have experience or affinity with HR tech or related fields.
  • Preferably, you experience with working in high-growth companies.
  • You are ready to take responsibility and get things done.
  • You have an excellent command of the Dutch language.

What We’ll Provide:

  • A platform to make a substantial impact every day by crafting content that advances our mission of making hiring more objective and diverse
  • An amazing office in the centre of Amsterdam. We provide a lot of flexibility but do have an office-culture, and expect you to be there most of the time
  • Competitive salary (€4,000 to €6,000 based on track record + 8% holiday allowance), with options for shares (SAR)

A Typical Day for You:

  • 9:00: Enjoy your first coffee at the office. Want to start earlier? Go for it.
  • 9:15: Daily team meeting to share your focus for the day
  • 9:25: Review the latest industry trends and news to stay updated and find inspiration for content ideas
  • 10:00: Create or edit content, ensuring it aligns with our brand and mission
  • 12:00: Lunch-time!
  • 12:30: One-on-one meeting with one of the co-founders to discuss progress and ideas
  • 13:00: Participate in a collaborative planning or strategy session
  • 14:00: Focus block to develop in-depth articles or reports
  • 16:30: Conduct keyword research to optimize content for SEO and improve search rankings.
  • 17:15: Wrap up any last tasks or assist with event planning
  • Time to go home, join the bootcamp, or enjoy office drinks!
